That’s correct. Delta Bessborough in Saskatoon. I don’t think I’d stay here again, there’s better options. But it’s kinda neat. Like a ghetto Banff springs basically.
They fucked something kind of minor up for me many years ago and literally comp'd the entire weekend and all food. It was incredible.

Went back a few years later and they put us in a room next to a conference room that the conference people treated like a night club while we had two infants next door. The hotel wouldn't shut the fucking party down after 10pm and instead, moved us at 11pm. I walked down the hallway in my underwear carrying one of my kids and spit at the feet of one of the whores in a cocktail dress from the conference because hey, they were partying in the hallway, as well.

We got a free breakfast for that... Free... Breakfast...

Haven't been back other than to give their lobby bathroom an upper decker.

And the group that they allowed to be drunk and disorderly all fucking night while their banners were displayed everywhere were called erdi.ca

FUCK YOU, EDUCATION RESEARCH DEVELOPMENT AND INNOVATION CORPORATION!!!!
You're not a real company, you just galavant to Fairmont hotels and get drunk.
I can't wait to rub my asshole on the mouths of your wine bottles, again!

My yank colleagues like to stay in Marriott group hotels, a lot of them say getting to status with them is better than Hilton Diamond...thoughts?
In North America neither status is particularly useful. It's easier to get Hilton status than Marriott but both have been kind of diluted.

    Hyatt has the best benefits.

Hyatt benefits are good, but they are limited when you're travelling outside of NA. Marriott stays/hotels dominated the last place I worked for. Some Hilton but globally, Marriott hotels were easier to come by - even if the status and benefits have been diluted. Lost platinum this year and don't think I'll ever get it back again.

Watering the lawn in the evening puts a smile on my face these days after laying down fresh sod a week ago.

If you go back to the window, you can see me somewhere. I'll try to find you if you are there. I have 100x zoom so it's a wrap.

This little shelf by the door of my hotel room. Haven’t seen one before.

Side note - I installed a little shelf like that next to the mandoor leading to the house in my garage, after dropping an entire coffee on the floor while juggling full hands while digging for keys. Fuckin' love it - game changer. It's the little easy things that make life worth livin'.

^Reminds me how I converted our 2 stacks of tires into a table/ghetto countertop in the garage by the man door, just a piece of plywood with one corner rounded to the curvature of the tires. Stapled an old towel on it like a table cloth and set it on top. Looks way better than the tires and you can set like 8 bags of groceries on it. So handy when it's time to get the keys out.

I left a taint print on the window.
Count the wrinkles and maybe you'll get moved to the side that matters. (North).

Just how damned nice the folks are Gregs Distributors are. I wandered in there, didn't know what I needed, what I had, or what to do iwth my life, and after a little discussion, and a second counter-service dude, we got me all figured out and out the door with a pile of parts for less than I thought.

Nice folks, lots of inventory, just generally superb to deal with.

That store is dangerous. So many things you can buy just because "hey I need one of these". I love Gregs.

It was very ghetto, so I'm ashamed to post pics.
Ripped a pre-fab MDF shelf to the depth I needed, sitting on a couple of builder-grade shelf brackets from home depot. EZPZ.

I'm messing about with 1/4" stainless tubing for a science experiment I'm involved in.
