This looks like a lot of fun, I may pick this up for PC. Is it going to be available on Steam?
Epic store. I'll be sitting this one out. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

That's a shame, I will wait until it migrates to Steam and get it on sale.

What's the deal with Epic store? I actually haven't heard of them until now.

Epic game store is basically steam, but without any of steams value-add features. They are trying to compete with steam as a game store and are paying big money to publishers for exclusivity deals. A lot of games coming out are delayed on steam by a year and launching on Epic early. Examples: the new Metro game, Borderlands 3.
I have never used Epic, nor plan to, since I only want to use one launcher and I like the features Steam includes.
Lots of people don't like Epic for various reasons. They are partially owned by Tencent. Their support is meh. They have security issues (apparently). They put transaction fees on users. And so on. I have no opinion one way or the other since I've never used it, but this is what a bunch of anti-Epic people are throwing around.
Epic's big appeal for publishers is that they only charge 12% instead of Steam's 30% as a margin. Pro-Epic people say this better rewards game developers and will encourage innovation in the industry.
There's probably more but that's the gist of it.
