In before @ExtraSlow says that McD's coffee is better and only $1 for any size Feb 4 to March 3. Oh wait . . . . .

My last few Mcd's cups have tasted like cigarettes... I feel like they have started cheaping out. Their cups sure insulate well though.

I have nothing to add on Tim Horton's

I noticed that this week too. I wonder if they changed bean suppliers, or their supplier had a bad crop. When I'm on this shift, I usually get a McD's in the early AM, and then a Tim's around lunch.

I should've known Roll up was back, McD's surprised me with 1$ coffee the other day.

Statistically, Alberta is one of the best Provinces for winning prizes based on population and how they spread prizes out. But considering every one of their prizes are total shit, I won't be stomaching their swill and leaky lids just for a chance at a BBQ or a base model Civic.

Same but I also know people that don't care and enjoy the "free entertainment".

Anyone notice their new leaky lids are worse than the old?
Why do you have to request dome tops?

They changed their lids recently. They are a lot better now. Also they've moved away from Honda this year, its a Jeep as the car prize.

Seems like everyone is still bitching about the lids. Really though, lids were never the issue, it's the cheap cup that has that big ridge in it where the lid cannot seal to. Cheap Jeep or cheap Honda. Same difference.

I wonder if Tims has analyzed their prize to sales figures? From a corporate standpoint, it really wouldn't be much extra to offer a nice new Audi or something instead of an ultra cheap lame car. And I mean that right there would get me to switch back and drink their garbage coffee once a day during roll up days.

They must ship out more winners earlier in the game to get people hooked. I always win on my first cup and go on a long losing streak after.
