I know nothing about printing or printing costs.. but someone designed a car part that I would love to get printed.

    https://www.printables.com/model/942...-cool-box-tray

Anyone up for the job? How much?
It's usually standard to charge 3-4x the cost of materials... just to cover the cost of owning / maintaining / running a printer / potential for loss of material due to failed prints
Mine's showing about $6 of materials...

I could run the print... I've only got grey though if you're picky on colour I'd have to order
I have other colours but in PLA though, which is generally frowned up for going to the car since there's the potential for the car to get warm enough on a hot day to warp... personally the organizer in my car is printed in PLA and I've had no issues in 3y.

Apparently some UPS stores now offer 3dprinting... I have no idea what they charge

How dark is the grey? I would be fine with $20...

    I've never seen this before.

I replaced my glass printer bed with a new one. First print that I did (some handy Chip Clips for testing!) they were stuck to the bed so solidly that when I pried them off, it actually took pieces of the glass with them! Now it MAY be pieces of just the surface coating, but it's awfully deep gouges, and looks like the glass itself actually chipped off the bed.

Unfortunately I bought this bed a couple years ago and it's been sitting in a box in a drawer for that time so I can't get it replaced, but I didn't even think something like this could happen. Got a new one already on the way so hopefully that one performs better.

This is usually why with glass you use Elmer's purple. Not for adhesion but for release. Petg on glass will pull up a layer of glass almost every time.

It was PLA, but my previous plate had been glued and cleaned so many times that's part of the reason I started with a new plate. I still have the old plate which I'd been using for years, but decided that it was time to try the new one.

That moment you realize your organizing wish list has pushed past 1000$ and needs to be reigned in.

Tecbears PLA is 15$/kg, gets about 10 big bins per roll, 130% scale) 20ish little. The leftovers from past projects get used up on the little bins for the tiny bins parts organizers, allowing color coding... And the stand for 4 trays is only 350g or so.

I only regret I didn't see the 6x5 box first

This beats the heck out of the princess auto ones, since printers have been idle-ish lately.

Ok seriously, I'm making this for the samurai. I'll just make a universal vacuum actuator with check valve. Then I can make it move anything. Perhaps a middle finger?

    Profit???

Anyone willing to print the plastic pieces for me of the Simpsons tv?
Would like to see cost too as I'll pay you for doing it. Probably want 2.
Filaments listed and the stl files too.

Bambu's H2D has some leaks. Looks interesting, has a tippy dual extruder thing going.

I kind of wish they'd run dual independent extruders like Hlidskjalf did - that would have knocked layer times down on big prints but they do seem to know what they're doing so I will trust in their process
