Doubtful, we also don’t really get any of BMWs neat triple turbo diesels.

Yeah, in the cold light of morning I realize that. I got a little excited under the influence of cheep beer and a flames win last night.

Europe gets diesel only S6 and S7, we get the gasoline versions. And I'm starting to believe that they will bring the RS6 Avant here, too big of a car for me though.

    TL;DR.
This is Beyond so we should be talking about the GTC-4LUSO. As with all their proper GT cars, it's actually the flagship Ferrari.

    Fits your budget, too. $65k*

*as long as you already have the first $400k and currently own a Ferrari to establish pedigree of ownership.

There is little chance I'd get a diesel S6 over a gas S6.

Then you don't have to worry. The diesels are only for Europe. Canada/US get the 2.9L V6 48volt(with supercharger).

I know you folks still have wagons on your mind since there's nothing else happening in the world.

Those thinking of tiny wagons, the Hyundai Ioniq is the same exterior size as a Mazda3 at 4470mm length. Available as Electric, plug-in hybrid or hybrid versions, might be nice value for a city runabout. Too small for regular duty holding 4 people plus gear though. Slopey rear cuts into true wagon form and versatility too.

I wish I could talk the wife into a wagon. She has her mind made up on a SUV.

Also as of May 1, Ioniq and Kona EV has $5K rebate from Feds.

There's no need to argue women just don't understand.

I had this same argument with my sister for days when she asked me to help her pick a vehicle. It came down to “guys can drive wagons and it’s fine, but women are considered ‘old moms’ if the my drive a wagon” and she ended up going for a glk

I suspect much like the rebound of mom jeans, it will all come full circle at some point.

Ya it’s pretty sharp. Interior is unreal.

I wish I had a car that nice hahaha. All three of mine aren’t worth that

Those cars look fantastic, and the interior is pretty nice as well... but I just couldn't get over the fact that at >$80k with options, there's only one engine available: a 315hp I4. No thank you, esp not in a car that size.

My 80k would go to the (less attractive) E400. Or the A6 avant that's coming next year.

E400 is a pretty nice package. Haven't closely inspected the V90 anywhere, but it seems great too. Guess $80k is just the price for this type of vehicle. Seems crazy, but, here we are.

For the record, I'd be totally okay with 300hp even in a big car like this. That's fine for a family vehicle. Should be lighter and nimbler than a minivan, and that's the real competition, not sports sedans.

No, the real competition is other wagons haha. E400/450 and A6 have turbo V6s with quite a bit more power. A base E53 wagon is only a couple grand more than the volvo with a few options, and its a significant step up.

And I realise I'm just griping. 95% of people would be happy with the 300hp I4 in the volvo for family hauling duties.
