Default Wagon Talk - Who still makes mainstream family wagons anymore?

Was chatting with a friend about wagons, and we were really having a hard time coming up with companies that make family station wagons. I know for a lot of manufacturers, SUV's have replaced the wagons in their lineups. Subaru and Volvo spring to mind pretty quickly, what else is out there?
I'm basically thinking something bigger than the Mazda3, and something cheaper than the Mercedes E-class wagon . Let's say for easy comparison, something you can buy for less than $65k, and exterior length longer than 176 inches.

Volvo V90 is bitchin in terms of looks, but pushing the top end on price. Do people consider the Ford Flex a wagon? It's a pretty dated platform, but not a terrible vehicle if you want something as big as a minivan without the handy sliding doors.

BMW makes 3 and 5 series wagons still. Although I don't think they brought the 5 series touring to North America this time?

BMW also dropping the 3 series wagon for North America. This is the last year for the 3 wagon here unfortunately.

Can't blame BMW. It is what their customers are buying.

North America gets shafted when it comes to wagons. When I was in Sweden it's all you see - Volvo V40, V50 (older), V60, XC70, V90. Volkswagen Golf Sportwagen / Alltrack, Passat Sportwagen pretty much rule the road. The occasional BMW wagon, Benz Wagon, Alfa Romeo 159 wagons, some Skodas, Acura TSX Wagon.

I've read a few articles saying VW is making a "shooting brake" (probably just a wagon?) version of the Arteon also.

I definitely consider the Flex a wagon. It's closer to the classic American station wagons than anything else on the market, loads of space and seating.

    It's 1/3 Wagon, 1/3 Mini-Van, and 1/3 CUV

Does it matter when it's 100% ugly?

Audi makes pretty sweet looking wagons. I'd definitely rock an all-road.

RS4 Avant if only it was available here would put all other brands to shame in terms of aesthetics (imo).

Audi, VW, MB, Volvo and BMW (not for much longer) - that is pretty much all you can pick from. Not a bad group but other than a Golf Sportwagon nothing is cheap.

3-series touring available for the time being but it'll be gone too (looks great tho IMO).

A6 Avant coming back next year apparently.

North Americans just have the biggest hard-on for SUVs, many of which are basically slightly raised wagons. If wagons sold better we'd have more to choose from.

A4 Allroad would be your best bet under $65K IMO.

I'm pretty sure this is my next, unless they pull out in 2020.

I'll probably get mocked for this but, what about the Buick Regal TourX. Not sure how available they are yet, but they are coming.

Other than being one of the ugliest vehicles I have ever seen, I welcome any new wagon into the market.
