    Kert is a chick?
I'm going to bet she's either a super hot nerdy type or, went through high school with the firm belief that "Grease" was the greatest movie ever made.

    Either way, fun member.

    Liberal Party logic.

"How are we going to deal with this obstruction of justice claim?"

"Easy, we'll just obstruct the justice committee."

Interesting commentary coming out of the OECD this week as well. Trudeau is a skidmark on Canada's reputation.

Holy shit, Trudeau explains that the rich can rig the system using his family as an example on leftist Vice:

Corruption and influence peddling is Liberal standard operating procedure. What’s more amazing is how this surprises anyone anymore.

So is the complaint that the rich and powerful can rig the system, or that Trudeau was part of a rich and powerful family and therefore could?

Why do you think people shouldn't be allowed to hire good lawyers with their wealth? Are you some kind of lefty?

Did anyone catch Conrad Blacks article a couple days ago?
"The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents... some day the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new Dark Age."

Missed the point completely. It's the fact he's telling a crowd of Occupy Wall St types that the rich can do whatever they want and get away with it, and he's one of them. Almost like justifying SNC with a "because I'm one of them."
It's not the corruption that surprises me, it's the fact that even after 4 years, his stupidity reaches no end. What clown of a PM.

So is your issue that the rich can get away with it, or that he told people they can?

my issue is that the PM just showed how he and his family flouted the law when it suited them, and how the justice system in Canada is not applied fairly across the board and that the PM is ok with that.

The justice system not being applied fairly across the board was his point, and he gave an example how. Even in the poorly quote mined video from a “Proud” twitter account that came across, now just think what the actual context of the video would provide.

About how Raybould should have never be in that position? Ya, I did. And and then I wondered if I should ever agree with him. Pretty convincing article

Its not stupidity - its arrogance and entitlement.

I learned some stuff that opened my eyes. Democracy is failing us, true democracy that is.

Conrad Black always has a very interesting way of looking at things, including looking into issues that I had no idea were an issue to begin with. Really clouds my appraisal of JWR's character after reading that article.

On the flip side, he basically advocates that SNCL should have been let off the hook.

    Sweet, Michael Wernick resigned: https://nationalpost.com/news/politi...alin-testimony

    Michelle Rempel:
Trudeau just appointed ANNE MCLELLAN to investigate the SNC Lavalin corruption scandal. She was Deputy PM during the Liberal sponsorship scandal #adscam, works with the Trudeau Foundation, is doing a Liberal FUNDRAISER in less than two weeks....and more!!! This is like asking Hamburglar to investigate where all dem cheeseburgers went!!

He's the guy that had to resort to steal hamburgers because he wasn't getting a living wage despite having a university degree?
