If this is the train wreck that is needed to get rid of them and get AB back on track, I'm all for it. This province has suffered enough.

As if the CPC is going to do much better for AB. The country as a whole? Probably, but Alberta? Unlikely.

The CPC would be sitting much prettier right now if they had Peter Mackay as leader. They're setting themselves up to fail with that dud sheer

What? They could push through the building of the pipeline by declaring it in the national interest.

Fuck Keep drinking that kool-aid though.

They can smooth the road, but federal politicians will always be very cautious about anything that is unpopular in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver.

I don't think two out of three of those cities care (about TransMountain), and for federal politicians, the votes in the city that does (Vancouver) do not affect the federal election outcome. Additionally, the NEB has given the go ahead, so the federal conservatives can immediately go ahead if elected.

It would also be at the beginning of a 5 year term, plenty of time for the anger to wear off. This is actually a huge issue with when the SNC scandal occurred, an October election is far enough away that anger over this will have worn off. Political scandals have a shelf life of about 3 months at most.

I enjoy that anytime anyone tried to have a conversation with you about pretty much any issue, you expose them as being far less informed than you are. That must be a heavy burden for you to bear.

Education by FACTS and LOGIC is the only way to go. I'm a man of the people, what can I say?

What's weird is you didn't try to have a conversation with me. You made a statement (written as fact, even though it was your opinion), that I negated. My bad. :p See, now we are having an actual conversation.

it's funny because he genuinely believes he is the smartest guy in the room on every single subject, and that anyone who doesn't think the same as him is wrong or an idiot or watching too much lib news or drinking kool-aid or whatever dumb insult he can come up with.

i was trying to remember the name of this syndrome so thanks for reminding me. Indeed it's classic Dunning-Kruger and i'm glad i'm not the only one who noticed this.

I don't know why you guys even bother engaging him. Even when he's right, he's such a cock about it that I'd rather smash my face against my keyboard than invest any amount of energy communicating with him. The dude's toxic- so toxic he doesn't realize how toxic he is.

That's actually about as accurate as I've seen it put, he was on my ignore for well over a year. That level of arrogance and delusion has several clinical diagnoses I imagine.

This is, quite literally, the dumbest, most unintelligent argument I have EVER heard in my life to justify buying new. Fucking. LAWL.

Please do show ANY relevant info whatsoever that shows in the past decade deaths and injury dropping drastically due to driving a newer vehicle.
