So possibly 100k+ CAD (I think?) for X3 M competition; why would someone buy this instead of spending a little bit more for X5 M? I feel at this price point, it shouldn't matter that much.
You are right on the price. I think X3 M will be 100K+.
The reason why some one will buy a X3M or X4M is because not every one wants a big performance SUV. CUV is one of the fastest growing sector. This is to take the sales away from Macan, GLA, Stelvio, F-Pace...etc.

Or stepping back, spend less and get the X3M40i which is supposed to get a power bump as well. I priced out a M40i for around $63k without all the gimmick options. It’s already a wicked fast SUV stock, guys are already over X3M Comp hp levels on just a tune. I don’t know if the //M tax is worth the probably $40k extra. This coming from a previous M owner.

63K a typo? Just glanced CBMW website and the cheapest 2019 is 77K. Top one is 85K.

And the other comment about the money gap between assuming ~100k for the X3M and why not just get the X5M. You are talking about ~35-40k price difference not like it is just a couple grand toss in money lol.

That was a typo, OTD is $73k with one package, for the ‘18s anyway. Either way I don’t doubt you can’t get one in the high $60s for year-end lot left overs.

End of the day it should be an SUV version of the M3 the way they do their tiers. Just a bit over 100k loaded sounds about right when you consider that.

Except for some reason I always see the X3 as a tier below the 3 series.

This S58 is what the Supra deserves.

    Sounds like shit.

If the timestamp doesn't work, go to 0:58.

    Nice!

    Will Audi make RSQ5?

Stelvio Quad still look nicer .. but .. Alfa .. probably even worse than Benz and BMW in reliability ... *_*

Current X340i with a full load is already over $80,000 OTD. Regular M3 sedan full load is over $110K OTD and there is no way it is going to be substantially cheaper than a M3. SUV variants usually cost slightly more as a base vehicle. I think the X3M will easily hit $100K++ with some options.

Never been a fan of the X3 or X4 platforms. But who the fuck knows, I might cycle through them at some point too.

Most GLC 63 is going for ~ $110K taxes (street price, not base MSRP) and CLG63 couple is going for $115K ish + taxes

So, BMW will be about the same!

Seems like way better value if you're getting a TTV8 in the Benz with ~25 more HP and ~75 more torque. Probably a nicer power curve too.

It's pretty much not will, but when.

There is already an RSQ3 and the RSQ5 has been rumored for a long time now. Hopefully we get them...

I am waiting for the new RSQ3 ... not that into BMW / MB style .. (especially interior) and the Audi 5 cyclinder engine is sweet ..

BMW is laughing all the way to the bank on these.

Anyone else think they are all fugly? At least the GLC 63 pretends to look good. And has a V8.
