    Default Stay Naked?

This is boat related, just curious peoples thoughts.

I have a 2001 Malibu Sunsetter LXI, I really like the look of my boat but at the same time I love the classic look with 'Malibu' and 'Sunsetter LXI' decals along the hull and the 'official u.s open towboats' along the transom.

If you were me would you stay naked or look for some decals to add?

Pictures of the boat as it sits right now:

What they look like with factory decals for comparison:

We have the decals on our boat and I think they look good. Would I go out of my way to add them if it did not have them already? No I don't think so. So I voted leaved naked.

Looks classier without decals. More likely to impress boat bros with decals.

I actually like the Malibu decals, really changes the appearance of the boat’s lines when in the water imo.

I wouldn’t take them off or put them back on. And yah only boat bro’s (lol) would likely notice / care.

    Nice looking boat regardless

I prefer the look of the boat with the decals.. breaks up the larger white(ish) portion.

with decals - I'd try for the ones with the most flake in them for that late 80's vibe - only half kidding - I'd them put a great name on the transom like Checkmate

Leave it as is, stickers after the fact are for kids.

I prefer clean myself. My decals got mangled up on my X-35 Mastercraft one year, so I peeled them all off. It looked killer on that boat.

It would be around $250 or so to go the "domed numbers" route, highest end brand new decals
