    What kind of wall is there to keep Haitians out of the Dominican Republic? Like seriously. How have ALL of them not simply waltzed over? Haiti is like 4th world poor and DR has gold, other mining resources and tourism. There is a lot I don't know about that weird island.

    There is a natural barrier, mountain range inbetween the two. Haiti is on the dry side, Dominica is on the wet side. That being said Calgary is hella lucky to have the Bow River (pristine water source) Technically a reason against a pipeline through the mountains (potential contamination through the mountains)

    Side factoid: USA Grand Canyon drains into Hudson Bay. Which may become a contention point in the future as populations grow. Manitoba gets all the crap (not much yet, but potential is there)
