    Wow, that's a beast. Enjoy!

We camped out by Keremeos, BC. Beautiful place, wasn't busy at all. Brought the Kettle for some 6 hour smoked ribs.

Probably the quietest I’ve seen interlakes, suspect due to the foot of snow on Thursday. Couple folks in tents had their tents collapse on them overnight, woulda been exciting. Saw 10 grizzlies in 3 days!

Furnace is acting up again. Fired up first try two weeks ago, and wouldn’t ignite this trip. Could see the spark and faint scent of gas.. not sure wtf is going on with it

These furnaces are actually quite easy to diagnose. Most have a light that blinks to tell you what is wrong. Pull the cover and find the control board then turn it on. See what it tells you.

It’s a 2001 surburban furnace, there is zero diagnosis lights haha

    Well damn haha.

There is a certain amount of conditions that will need to happen in order for it to light and where the process stops can also tell you. For example If you are getting spark, then there is enough airflow because the sail switch has indicated the fan is up to the correct speed. This is also a condition for the gas valve to open. But if you aren't getting ignition, then i would think you aren't getting ENOUGH fuel or that the spark is not reaching the fuel. So i would pull and clean the igniter test, then the same for the gas valve.

Its also possible if its the first use of the year that you are airlocked in the LP system. Turn off the LP and disconnect/reconnect the bottles then run the furthest appliance away from the them. This has caught me a few times on my fridge not firing.

I'm no expert, but on some of the older furnaces, the "control board" is an easy swap-out and a common failure point.

Also, good call on propane system issues. I usually find runing my stove (because it's less picky about propane flow) for five minutes solves this issue.

YAY, off work and off to “camping” or what most would call “glamping”

I shall go for a hike to enjoy real nature.

hrrrmm. I'll have to see if i can get it to run something. I don't run a stove inside (tent trailer and inside stoves seems like a terrible idea), but do have a quick connect on the side of the trailer, which again i dont use and not sure i even have the connector.. will have to look!

Where is everyone heading for Canada day weekend?

Wife and I are heading to a Fairmont campground for a cousins 40th birthday. Also going to test out the new inverter/solar setup this weekend because we are leaving on Wednesday and staying by lake Abraham for 2 nights before driving to Fairmont.
