Realized I never posted a picture of my trailer, picked it up mid-April and had it out the following weekend.

Depends on what a person wants to do I guess... Water Valley Golf course is great. Fallen Timber Meadery has tours and tasting and is quite nice. Hanging out I the Little Red Deer river when it is hot is always popular. Some little antique stores in Cremona. The Saloon has great wings. Wing Wednesday is always jam packed and Friday and Saturday nights too. The kind of place you eat peanuts and throw the shells on the floor. Fishing the Little Red Deer and Dogpound Creek. Winchell Lake is nice. That is just off the top of my head...This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Went to Rocky Mountain House National Historic Campground on the weekend. Absolutely no trees on the campsites. I forgot that the government likes to control things so had to hide my wood from @ExtraSlow . Also a asian church group had booked out the entire campground except for our 3 spots and they would drive back and forth to the washrooms which was very annoying. All sites had no power, no water and no sewer. The public sani dump in RMH was a nightmare. Spent 90 mins on the way there to fill water, spent 60 mins on way home to use sani dump. Despite that it was a good trip except for when I went swimming in crimson lake with my glasses still on and then lost them in the murky water.
Edit: Whats with the staff coming around at 11pm on national sites to tell you to put your fire out. They told us we werent very noisy and we could keep it going but I am staying at tunnel mountain with my kids in late august and the rules are no campfires after 11, no booze and no weed on friday/saturday.
One thing I really like about the Alberta and BC provincial parks reservation websites is the ability to see pictures of the campsites before I book. I pretty much won't book anywhere without trees.

Thanks, that's a nice high level summary.
What's the deal with William J. Bagnall Wilderness Park? Was out there and the place was completely deserted. Felt off so we didn't venture down those stairs. Just us or is there a reason no one goes there?
No fires and no booze. What exactly are you supposed to do lol

I have never done it but my Aunt and Uncle walked it last summer and said it was pretty nice. I think it just doesn't see a lot of traffic from locals. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Fraser, I see it's got those "wide-track" spread axles. Any thoughts on them?

Probably wayyyyy more trailer than I actually need, but having a full queen bed and having a big bathroom is great. Definitely getting a good amount of use out of it.
So far I love them, it's a very, very stable trailer and because of the way the weight is distributed, it's easy to forget it's there. I also haven't towed a trailer that has the conventional axles with my truck, so I don't have much of a comparison. The only downside is that I'll need to buy the more expensive X chocks if I ever decide to and it's low. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
