Actually was out on the spray road today so I stopped in and here's my report. 1) trailers and motorhomes won't fit. Truck campers, or tents. 2) the sites are anything special, and many are bumpy, small or partly shared. 3) all the sites are near the high water line of the reservoir, but when the lake is low like it is now, it's not very pretty. Mud flats aren't my favourite view. 4) wasn't busy today, but it's a Wednesday before school let's out, so that doesn't mean anything. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Summary, I don't think I'll camp there.
Anyone know of a campground where we can fish? My 10 year old is determined to catch her first one this year, so if I can camp and she can fish nearby, that would be ideal.

Chain lakes. Upper lake. Lower lake. If she's into fly fishing, something further south like cataract, Livingston, racehorse, Oldman etc. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I like fishing, but I'm awful at it. I rarely catch anything
Racehorse Creek would be ideal. Willing cutthroat, particularly in July and August. Cataract creek is also nice and quiet, and creek is loaded with brook trout. Nothing longer then 10” though
Thanks guys, we’ve been to chain lakes several times and she has not had any luck over there, just at the day use and never camped. I’ll check out Spray, Cataract and Racehorse, might just hit up all three this summer.
Midway Reservoir east of Carstairs, stocked rainbows that'll come to a spinner or fly on a spin casting setup, prairie pothole lake, outhouses, cheap camping ($15?), sometimes free fire wood, big metal firepits, never busy, 45 minutes NE of Calgary, paved all the way except for the last 1/4 mile or so. Do a day or evening trip out there to see if it'll fit. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Just tried out camping in my E.
Loved it for the easy set up. Especially for camping trips that only last a couple days. Doesn't get hot during the day as long as I have the reflective panels on.
Also made this ghetto mosquito net. Going to try and make something legit over the summer. Suggestions are appreciated. I was thinking cutting up and modifying the entrance part of an old tent for zipper entry and snap buttons around the frame of the hatch.
