Anyone try out Anthem yet?

Just curious if it is as big of a dumpster fire as I have read. Id like to try it out, just curious if anyone else has tried it and your thoughts.

I played the VIP and Open Beta, I had a really fun time. Disconnects were a pain, but you can jump right back into the same instance. Tried Ranger, Interceptor, and Colossus. Fav was Interceptor for dodge, rangers good all around, and didnt really like the speed of the Colossus.

I would recommend for sure, seems like a great game, and I dont even like TPS (Third Person Shooters)

Anthem is awesome. I'm ordering when it drops on the 22nd.

I spent all weekend in the last open beta they held and it was crazy. Sunday afternoon they held a special event which really only dropped Ancient Titans but it was still a blast.

Bunch of different unique classes... I played the crap out of a Collosus.

I also played during the demo/beta weekend and loved it, beautiful game with great game play and what I've read is a good main storyline. It dropped for Origin Premier members this past Friday and issues were identified so Bioware is releasing a day 1 patch this week which cleans up some of the main issues that players have reported....which is impressive for a short turn around time on fixing things.

Seems like all the streamers, youtubers and "reviewers" who are reporting bad things have played 5-10 hours and are just going for views, lots of folks on reddit with 100+ hours are saying they love it and will continue to log more heavy hours.

After being burned by paying full pop for BF5 and its price dropping a month later, I just bought an Anthem code off kijiji where someone got a code for it with purchase of a RTX card. Even if it falters down the road then I'll feel less pissed over $40 instead of $80, but I do have high hopes for the game.

Glad to hear some positive reviews. I like the looter shooter games, but have been torn on this or Division 2 coming next month, not much time for both. Destiny was not as good as expected, but this sounds promising. Thanks!

If you're playing on PC then maybe sign up for Origin Basic if you want to try it out, get 10 hours of game play and a 10% discount if you decided to purchase the game afterwards, then just cancel your Basic renewal.

I'm planning on rolling with Colossus as my main and probably Ranger as an alt down the road.

Well was going to purchase it but after my sour taste with FO76 I'm not going to pay $80 for a game at launch like this.

I was going to ignore this as a bad Destiny clone, but sounds like I'll have to keep an eye out for when it goes on sale.

I have been playing it on XBONE, and I like it. It does have a destiny feel to it, and plays a lot like titanfall. The story line is decent enough. The best part though is, each of the different classes feel and play different.
