First flight in ~3 years was a couple of weeks ago on a MAX 8. Didn’t even notice until I was checking in for my return flight which was also a MAX 8 (not that it would have made a difference). Didn’t die, would recommend.

Funny thing is I heard some people chatting that they thought it was an old plane while I was in line waiting in the aisle getting to my seat. I told them actually no it was one of the new ones that they took out of service for a few years and they brought back recently. They seemed a bit nervous for a few mins lol.

I really like the big overhead bins on these things. Nice not to be hassled during boarding to check your carry on.

Ryanair has managed to stuff 200 seats into the Max 8, to make an already dreadful flying experience even worse for those unfortunate enough to fly with them.

Worst seatguru map I could find was Ryan air and Norwegian Air both at 189 seats. Though I think that's Ryan air's old 737-800 and not the new Max planes.
