    The counter argument I'd offer on inspections is that they are in NO WAY a guarantee of good workmanship. It's always best to be an educated buyer and understand at a deep level what the end product should be. I've had plumbing, electrical and framing inspectors pass work that was not up to par.

    I would never hire someone and not get a permit. The only reason I would consider no permit, is because I would be doing the work myself. I would know how everything was done and am confident it would be done correctly.

    I think the plumber who ran hot water to the toilet is ahead of his time!!!! Especially with how cold Feb. was.

    Yeah at first i was like "oh warm toilet... not a bad idea..." then I realized it was coming directly from the hot water tank so it was screaming hot. Near boiling water splashing up on my asshole or basically cooking my shit ....
