Default Looking for help to price out my used Amp/Sub

    Hi,

I'm looking for some guidance on where to price my used amp/sub for sale as I'm not really familiar with this area of electronics. I'm not looking for every last penny from this sale, but would like to get a fair price for me and a decent deal for the buyer.

I pulled my Clarion XR2120 Amp and 10in Sub from my Mazda 3 when I sold it. My new vehicle has a built in sub so this has been sitting. It was installed to give a fuller sound, I'm not one that wanted my car to rattle down the street - not sure if that makes a difference in used price

I know this is an older model, but from my research BestBuy.com still sells it (direct from BB not a 3rd party) for $200USD.

The sub itself is 10in in a ported box, put together by Andre's Electronics in BC.

Anyone have any thoughts/guidance before I post this for sale? Thanks!

Well imagine if instead of writing that letter to the editor, she just posts on a car forum for car enthusiasts. That's Kritafo.

Thanks - I didn't really have a ballpark but I'll be honest I didn't expect it to be that low.

Well, being used and readily available, should be less than half of best new price. So maybe ask for a little more, but it doesn't sound crazy.

You realize you are talking to the guy who made his own furniture out of salad bowls right?

$50-100 for sure. Nowadays not a lot of people will do a sub and amp as the stereos in vehicles nowadays are decent enough

Put it up on Kijiji for $400. No bites. Lower it $50 increments till its sold.

$100 is fair to be honest for the set. Maybe toss it up for $125 and take $100.

Yeah well I wonder how they get the soft flowing caramel inside the Caramilk bar but you don't see me making a god damn thread about it. Slap your wife Baygirl, straighten him out.
