    Default Exterior Automotive Wire

So I’ve been pretty lazy this last little while with my slip tank.... I’ve just been using outdoor house wire....

Yeah, yeah.... very busy at work.

Well now I’m switching some lights out in the back and am finally going to run new wire.

Where is the best place to get some 14 or 12 gauge wire. Future shop, the source?

Yep, princess auto for sure. They have a good selection, and have all the connectors, looms, shrink wrap and tools you'll need for it as well.

Holy F, how did I not think of that. I’ve definitely over worked myself.

    Perfect thanks!

Pick up 12 gauge SOW ‘cab tire’ bulk extension cord cable from Home Depot. Durable and insulated.

The Princess Auto stuff I found is a heavier less strand type wire when you get into the 12-14 gauge stuff usually classified more as "primary wire"

I don't know much about wire classifications, what would the alternative be called? "secondary wire" or what? And would that mean more strands more like a speaker wire? What are the advantages of each option?

    I LOL'd too.
    Sounds-a-round?

Get the gold connectors... they sound better!
