But at the very least, the NDP doesn't have social policies that cause me to be concerned for some of the province's minorities.
    What policy is that?

I am always interested in hearing about all these disasterous social policies of the UCP.

I thought the left kept complaining that the UCP had no policies? Which is it?

Seems this is going to be an NDP or UCP election. Would be nice to have a breakdown, or compare-contrast between the two.

I used this (https://votecompass.cbc.ca/alberta/?...ukdTydJwC0aL4E) as a guide for voting and apparently I align with AP the most.

The problem with the vote compass I think is it puts too much emphasis on social issues. Almost anyone I know has come out as AP, but they are all voting UCP.

Funny enough, I fully expected to come out AP, because of the social issues, but came out square UCP, which was my plan anyway. Maybe I'm becoming less "progressive" as I age?

I just did the survey. Pretty much this.
Social issues are all good. But when you can't put food on the table or have no money for toilet paper. Social issues go out of the window and shit gets real.

Put me in as AP as well. But it make sense to me. I think a AP minority with UCP as opposition make the most sense to me but I'll take the reverse as well. I'm 100% sure I'll be disappointed tho.

Yes he was. But if the Fed Conservatives had made the formula more favorable for Alberta, there would have been chaos across the country from everyone else. At the time, he was a federal politician who was federal politicking.
A non-binding referendum would change this how?

Why not ask for something more.

Thank god for the CBC to tell me how much I agree with the Fildebrandt Conservative Party lol

Also BIG lol at AP being right of center economically.

I think this gives a big example of how socially careful UCP has been if I am more SoCon than UCP. I couldn’t really care less about social issues, and even when I weight the questions nothing changes.

You can weigh catagories as they are important to you and it will adjust the results . I still ended up with AP though.

I think FCP doesn't even fit on that map since they are Libertarian.

Social Progressive Left is what government tells you should or should not do.
Social Progressive Right is what your church and mom/dad tells you should or should not do.

Libertarian doesn't fit this narrative at all.

FCP isn't even that. FCP is only there to try and get votes and be brought back into the UCP.

I landed between FCP and UCP. Obviously I'm going to vote for the one that actually has a chance at winning.

I think it’s funny FCP is even on the chart. I mean Green Party isn’t lol.

I'm pretty much where I thought I would be, and pretty much exactly where I was last election on the compass.
