I'm looking forward to people who have been championing the UCP as slayers to the public sector to reduce government slowly realizing that reducing government operational spending or personal income tax wasn't actually part of the UCP platform, because they didn't actually bother to pay attention. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Bill 12 proclaimed within an hour of being sworn in.

Meh. Lesser of 2 evils. That's the only reason they got my vote. If and when they fuck up I'll have zero issue calling a spade a spade.
Trident Exploration went tits up today with their 4700 wells. Well, they closed the doors fired everyone and handed the wells over to the AER.
Really curious on the UCP is going to handle the industry going forward. There is a lot of interesting things happening on the ARO side. Its going to get messy.
Well, everyone is surprised how green Kenney's cabinet is as well. So we will see how it goes. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Now NDP isn't the enemy and there is going to be a bunch of orphan wells on farm land, it will be interesting how UCP will handle this mess. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I would assume that UCP will draft up new law where clean up is optional since it's red tape?

So Horgan is in court for:
1) Suing Alberta for threatening to restrict how much is exported via pipeline.
2) The ability to restrict how much goes through the pipeline.
Is Alberta not also fighting both sides (to have the right to restrict while blocking the others right to restrict)? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
^^^ No, both constitutional challenges were raised by the BC government.
He also said BC need more refining capacity. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Dude is a fucking idiot or hypocrite.
He literally just wants whats best for BC and fuck everyone else. Its a pretty simple strategy. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
The sad thing is he will likely win with the support of the Feds.
He's their most disruptive Premier in a decades and the best part is, he wasn't even elected. Those IQ-85 Green members handed him the reins and got nothing in return. Worse than that actually, they didn't even get their precious Site-C cancelled. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Yet here they sit doing nothing when they could topple this clown's govt.
Let's get real here, Bill 12 have wobbly legs anyway unless we are ready to stop all exports to everyone. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Also refined products, the stuff we want to stop shipping to BC, may not be covered under 92A which only cover raw natural resources. If injunction is granted on May 7, it render Bill 12 useless immediately.
So I'm not sure what kind of lawyers Kenney got or he already knew the outcome and using this as a publicity stunt. And for that, it's working.
