I fall between FCP and UCP. Voting for UCP this go around though for sure. Taking no chances on giving the NDP any benefit.
except once the red tories took over after klein the fiscal management of this province went to shit and eventually lead to the rise of the NDPThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Red Tories are all the eastern creeps and bums who moved Ron alberta for work.

All politicians are pretty bad, but NDP just needs to go. Endless spending, but everything is worse off (from my experience). Healthcare has gotten worse, economy is worse off, taxes are worse, job situations are worse...goes on and on.
Before Klein, those are red tories as well. Lougheed and such. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Its almost like the methodology itself is biased, or they have the factors that describe the parties incorrectly done based on their own biases and how they perceive those parties...This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
That would be news to 3/4 of my extended family and their co-workers who are all teachers both public and private who all voted for them and assisted on campaigns last election. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
LOL i didnt see that one coming
I live in Calgary Elbow so I will be voting for Greg Clark. However it surprises me how many NDP signs I have seen on private property in a Elbow already. Personally I am better off now than I was four years ago. Jason Kenney is hell bent on getting Alberta into expensive court challenges over equalization and carbon tax. The current Equalization formula is something Harper put in while Ienney was a cabinet minister. He claims to be an advocate for pipelines, why didn’t Harper Kenney and co get Northern Gateway, Energy East, or Transmountain built during their ten years of power? I imagine I will be disappointed with the results on election night, but who knows. Pollsters projected a Bill Smith mayoral win and we all know how that turned out.
War is Peace. Freedom is Slavery. Ignorance is Strength.
Wouldn't surprise me if the ndp took care of teachers in edmonton and not in calgary. Also its one thing to make promises, another to actually deliver on them. Thus the increase in classroom numbers, reduction in aid support etcThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Maybe they didn't build those pipelines as they weren't projects at the time? How about all of the pipelines that were built during the Harper era? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Equalization is tricky for sure, I'd be fine with the formula if the country wasn't trying to screw us. But clearly they are, and it's a good lever to push back on.

Some of that great socialized healthcare the NDP has brought us:
Noticed over the last few days that there's a few NDP signs popping up on peoples lawns in my community (I live in Calgary-Bow). Drives me even more crazy because the NDP MLA that my idiot neighbours are campaigning for is Deborah Drever
Drever giving the finger to the Canadian flag really resonates with a subset of voters.
Im actually quite perplexed with all this election talk.
There us pretty much a 100% chance that the UCP will win, so no matter what your political leanings are, why are you spending so much time arguing back and forth... go live your life until Apr 16, then either celebrate or be sad for the next four years after that.

NDP really struggling to gain any traction, this is a hail mary of a try to get any rural vote.
Interesting looking back in history, wasn't social credit all farmers ? And weren't they practically commies?
Could work..doubt it, but never know if that sentiment is still.floating around.
I've heard nurses and support staff at the UofA hospital openly bitching about the NDP, and this area is about as liberal as you get in town, especially with all the nurse practicums fresh from the socialist mill.
CCF were the commie farmers, Social Credit were the religious nut farmers. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
