Also keep in mind the scope of the investigation was specifically surrounding the Russian collusion in the 2016 election - the dozens of other crimes they uncovered along the way are being/have been handed off to SDNY and others, and will probably be ongoing for years to come. This is the tip of the iceberg, so don't expect anything final to happen anytime soon. It's one of those things where in 5-10 years there will probably be an awesome documentary on it.

Trump is clearly guilty, but assuming they were able to nail him on something, there is a lot of controversy surrounding indicting a sitting president, so one school of thought is that they would seal it and save that for when Trump is done his term.

We knew this was coming soon because Mueller's team began returning to their normal posts in the past weeks. Hopefully it is able to provide the clarity everyone is looking for one way or the other, and weed out a bunch of garbage on the way.

I think 2020 will be one of the most important and highly participated in elections in a very long time - lots of good Dem candidates announcing now too.

Watching CNN's heads exploding is beauty. But for how hard they pushed this Russian collusion story, even after being caught red handed admitting it was completely fabricated, really paints them into a corner if they ever investigate the actual Russian collusion. I was sitting in a pub in London over Xmas and discussing this with a friend.
He was convinced Trump was going to be impeached or impeached in his term. I said he wont be, my friend could not understand why I thought that and I explained my reasoning. See Ive had this theory (and im getting kinda scared I might be right.)
They can't nail trump and won't. Its because if they do, then it creates the same kind of framework to investigate Hillary in the same manner. She is worse.


What makes it worse is that on CBC radio they had some guy who worked for the CIA (I could be wrong) giving a interview about some of this and how Trump was bad etc. Well now..this also makes the CIA look incompetent.
