May be buying a fifth wheel and temporarily need something to tow it, anybody know where I can rent a fifth wheel truck for a day or two?

Driving Force?
My brother had a 1 ton rental through them recently while his truck was in the shop. Unsure if you can spec one with a gooseneck mount but worth a call?

No luck with Driving Force though they did give me a guy who would haul it himself. Not ideal but have one option so far.
Edit: never mind, that guys out of town until may. Back to zero.
Edit edit: Found a guy on Kijiji that will haul it for a reasonable price, but still interested in rental options if anyone has ideas.

i know (again) it's not ideal, but Kijiji always has those hauling guys...the ones with their own trailers and truck and are willing to move your cars around.
I bet some of them would be willing to haul a 5th wheel , especially short distances.
Or call the RV dealers and find out who do their deliveries.
Shaw GMC rentals might have something too.
the buyer of my 5th wheel has the same problem....he has no truck but has to come get it in the next three weeks.
edit - just make sure whoever you use is insured.
I’d offer to do it but I only have the rails, no hitch in my truck.
You wont find one for rent from a company. I looked high and low when someone side swiped me right before a planned trip. Nothing for a 5th wheel.
Budget Trucks/Driving Force will allow for bumper pulling of a non-recreational trailer only as insurance does not cover rec vehicles and your policy will only cover it if its from your insured tow vehicle. Both will fit one with a 5th hitch but it would have to be a special order long term lease and still wont allow an RV.
The RV's places hire contractors that do nothing but haul RV's around.
Your best bet is to find someone on KIJIJI or a buddy to do it for you.
Summit Fleet may have something.
I used to know of a place in Edmonton that had the trucks, but they made you put your own plate and insurance on it and I think possibly even a 30 day minimum rental. Not ideal.
Good luck.
I looked a while ago and it really seemed like rental places strongly discouraged towing, no matter what the truck was good for. There's several reputable RV transport companies around, quick google will find em. That's my suggestion.

Slight follow up for OP:
The new owner of my fifth wheel came down last night to pick it up. He had rented a 2019 F-350 platinum edition dually from driving force for $150/day. All we had to do was transfer the hitch (which he purchased as well from me) into the bed of that truck and he was good to go. So, there’s one “rental” place that can help out.
That's a really good price for what is basically a $100,000 vehicle. What a great option.

I’m just stoked I wasn’t totally wrong.
Gold star.

Some conflicting info in this thread now though. Previous poster said driving force didn't allow towing RV's?

Govern yourself accordingly, as the saying goes.
Driving force doesnt allow it. Full stop.
It's a low frequency high consequence situation. I agree different people would have different views of that type of situation. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

FWIW, the driving force dually also came delivered with a gooseneck ball already in the bed.
Wouldn't you have to drill holes for the rails? Not to familiar with fifth wheel installs. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
In the end I just paid the seller to deliver it. Figured if he was willing to haul it then it must be in good mechanical shape.
Like mentioned Driving Force. I rented a 3500 Cummins Ram from them. They didn't mention anything about towing.
