Default Car sitting higher on one side after jacking it up

So I started tearing into my project MK4 GTI and ran into an issue. The car has Eibach Pro System with Dampers and springs. I lifted it up one the left side front and back yesterday to look at what size the wheel spacers are. When I put the car back down it sits higher on the left side now. I can fit just under 2 fingers in the right side wheel (rear) well above the tire, but more than 3 on the left side (rear). Everything looks fine, cant see how this happened. Also not sure if this is related but when I took the rear wheel off there was no hubcentric ring in it, so it didn't line up properly going on. I picked up a set of rings this morning and will be putting them on asap, but figured maybe this is something else?

Have you moved it since you had it up in the air? with transmission in gear or park, and/or e-brake on, it can hold some torque in the system that can load the suspension. If it's not that, I have no idea.

You realize you are talking to the guy who made his own furniture out of salad bowls right?

Completely normal. Drive it around the block, the suspension will resettle, and ride height will be back to where it should be.

If no helper springs the coils may not be seated in the perches... drive down a couple bumpy roads and you might hear a “BANG!” ...then it will be back to normal
