My dad was a chef and I grew up in restaurants so yeah I can cook. My issue is always that the amount of time, effort, and dirty dishes required to make a meal that lasts 15 minutes. Even worse when you make a really nice meal and your fussy kids won't eat it.

Watched a lot of Food Network when I was younger, back when it wasn't all reality shows and they actually taught you how to cook. There was also a lot of eye candy on there too

Looks like an interesting read, thanks Young Whippersnapper.
It's long as hell but it's absolutely worth the read. The whole story is really crazy.

I didn't cook until we had kids and had to do it out of necessity because wife worked late and I didn't want the kids to starve. So many years later, I do all the cooking weekdays and sometimes weekend, but usually the wife will cook weekends. I do enjoy cooking now and think I turned out to be a decent cook.

Can cook, do on occasion but my wife can just throw stuff together without any recipe and make something amazing so she's the main cook. I do all the grocery shopping though, won't even take her because she gets sidetracked too easily plus I remember prices from week to week and can figure out the best bang for the buck which is way beyond her capabilities without a calculator.
    Will fuck off, again.
