I took my winters off and put on new Duratracs last week myself. I am not worried about one or two temporary dumps of snow with these tires. I would hold off if all I had were summer tires though.

There was a mobile guy who shut down his business last year. I looked at it buying it but didn’t want to deal with hiring and training tire techs. I’m sure somebody else picked it up and is running it.

It's still cold in the morning. I'll wait till when the day time high hits high teens. The forecast day time high for the next two weeks is hovering around low teens still. Probably another two weeks or more for me.

I have had more issues with gravel than temps on my commute.

No way I am going to give up precious days with the summer car because it’s a bit chilly in the morning lol.

I'm swapping the Mustang this week.

Subaru is staying on winters and M5 staying in the garage for another month.

Had some pretty good wheelspin yesterday exiting a corner but I have 140TW tires and it was 8 degrees out.

It could be 40C and I would still have wheelspin. It’s called moderation lol.

    What’s that like??

I’ve completely cooked my rear winters... dunno what’s better at this point. Have to grab the impact from the other house before I can do anything though, so that could be a while

Sitting on traction control all the time is... Boring lol

Got the nastiest look from our building manager for spinning my wheels in the parkade today lol

Hoping to toss some better summers on this year, just trying to figure out if I am being too cute with adding 20mm all around.

No I put mine on a week ago. If there is snow, it'll melt on the warm asphalt

Yeah well I wonder how they get the soft flowing caramel inside the Caramilk bar but you don't see me making a god damn thread about it. Slap your wife Baygirl, straighten him out.

I'm too lazy to swap. ARe there any services that can do it at your home? Like a home detailer?

    No, I'm not Inrich.
I used Tire Doctors beginning last week. They were good, no issues, about $100 for the swap. Had my winter set on for 6 months so was just itching to get them off. My summer rims are mounted with A/S so I'm not too fussy in waiting till temps are consistently warm.

Overnight temps are going to drop below 0 next week and daytime highs to 8 or less. I was going to switch over too (summers, not A/S) but I decided against this.
