Philips Black Magic dark ale tallboys were marked down to $1.99 at Royal Oak Co-Op so I picked up a couple. Damn good cheap beer.
I keep making the occasional Co-Op liquor store trip in hopes that their Co-Op Red will be marked down as much as they were last summer, but they haven't had a sale on them in a long ass time. But this was a nice consolation prize.
Almost forgot, thread theme song:
In case you may be spending too much time with your in-laws this weekend:
Superstore has 24 packs of AGD down to $24.99.
Sobeys/Safeway has Pilsner or PBR for $19.99/15 pack.

Not AS cheap, but Liquor depot has 15 packs of AGD for $24 and you get a free shirt. Good for attracting women. Cheaper than seeking arrangement.

Was surprised to see that Phillips 6 packs went up from 10.99 a couple months ago to now 16.99 @ Sobeys... Call me disappointed, as guess i'm going back to AGD for deck building
Broken record, but AGD and AGD light 24 for $25 at superstore.
One of the few beers I just can't choke down. Taste buds screwed me again.
Weird. I like it a lot more than other cheap beers. Although maybe that's proof that it IS different somehow. I dunno, I'm not a brew master, just a drinker. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Yeah, I know quite a few people who enjoy it so I'm the exception here. If you get a chance to go to an Ace Liquor you won't be disappointed with their prices. While the savings aren't as vast on the cheap beers, you can get the good ones for closer to cheap beer prices. I used to only buy kokanee when I was feeling rich, now I bathe in it (yet still manage to not wash my legs).
Tasty beers are good at like 6-8*C but AGD is good ice, ice cold. Just a cold blast to the dome after a hot day.
For all you bunny-huggers:
Superstore
49.99 for 48 at costco. Just picked some up on the weekend. 1.04 a can.
To contribute:
$34.99 for the big rock big box. 24 cans. grasshopper, honey brown, rhinestone cowboy, and trad.
$1.46 a can. Cheap beer threshhold is $1.50?
Yeah, that's the guideline, although if it's an interesting or "premium" beer up to $2/can and I won't get too upset. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

The Okanagan Springs 24 mixer pack is also $34.99 at Costco. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Huh, that wasn't on the flyer I looked at, and it wasn't marked as on-sale at the Huntington location, but they rang up at the $12 price. Can't beat it. I grabbed red and golden. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I have a good variety and supply laid in for camping. Reviews may occur.
Yeah, Liquor depot is really shit at putting out flyers and changing shelf prices. I only know of the sales from their emails.
River Valley Red is the best beer sale under $1, that's for sure. I always grab a few cases of that sale for BBQs.
I can eat more hot wings than you.
I've been on the PBR train lately, $53 for 48 at costco
