I'm definitely a broken record here, but there is way too much good Alberta beer to drink. Support local and support it extra because other provinces make it impossible for us to have a domestic export market whatever the fuck that is.

Places like Granville hardly qualify as craft anyway. Basically same as Big Rock, which I consider "industrial craft".
Although a lot of smaller names have thier shit brewed and canned by these bigger names. I know for a fact Big Rock does contract brewing and canning for several "local craft" names.
In the end, the distinction is blurry at best.
But fuck BC until I can camp there.

I picked up some beer from 'The Establishment Brewing Co.' last week. Delicious. There are so many good micro brews nearby that I need to check out.
The Establishment or any other local are not cheap, but they can be very very good.

current ski quiver:
park, all mtn 181 ON3P Kartel 98
park,all mtn: 181 Armada AR7
big mtn, pow: 185 Armada JJ
In that immediate area you have Establishment (obviously), almost next door to them is Annex Brewing, 2 min North behind Henninger Toyota you have Cabin, Born Colorado, and Banded Peak. Paddy's is there too but that place is a dump. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Inglewood has 5 or 6 more if you head over that way - High Line, Revival Brewcade, Ol' Beautiful, Cold Garden, Dandy, '88
~$5 pints are cheap IMO, but the cans are not.
^ some great brewers listed here
It's insanely cheap for those places to pour from kegs to glass. Canning is a major expense. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Cabin brewing can do no wrong, my go to.
Once warmer weather comes along I'll get a couple kegs on the go again, but that Granville 24 pack from Costco will make for good camping beers at that price point.
I've been doing the Minhas Fat Cat this weekend since an uber amazing customer dropped us off a 36 pack for helping him out.
Of their "buck a beer" this is probably the best one I've tried, it's got all their Wisconsin branding and labels on it.
$22.98 for 24-pack
~96 cents a beer at superstore today until Sunday
I was in a grumpy mood for basically all of 2020 and thus didn't start a new thread. Anyone care if we keep using the 2019 thread or start a new 2021 thread? Or any mod just want to rip the year out of the thread title?

Do they have the bullshit big top?
Heard they went back to a normal top but haven't personally confirmed. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
They did. And you're welcome!
Fruit cup can is worst can. If I ever get a tattoo, I'm stenciling that across my forehead like that junkie Posthole Malone.
I'd pay extra for the fruit cup lids. Remember when you could buy warthog tallboys with that lid? Peak human achievement.

Can confirm the AGD at Safeway is the boring normal lids. Still a good deal at $48 for 48, but I'll have to drink them sadly now.

I’m a simple man.
Though I did get a head shake from some coworkers recently who pointed out I do well enough to drink better stuff
