The Pilsner but it still might make your salivary glands bother you back near your ears...

Pilsner and red. Get both and swap back and forth. Neither is great, but we'll worth the 83 cents a can.

Posted this in the other drinking thread but it really belongs in here...import beers proposed to be shipped by LCBO across Canada skirting the Alberta beer tax.

Conservative backbencher is aiming to open the floodgates on cross-country booze shipments, drafting legislation that offers a workaround to interprovincial trade barriers.

MP Dan Albas tabled a private member's bill Tuesday that would allow Canada Post to offer direct-to-consumer sales of out-of-province beer, wine and hard liquor from coast to coast to coast.

Will be keeping a close eye on this. Not so great for local brewers but I think we have enough well established ones already that will do just fine. Looking forward to buying imported craft beers without paying the ridiculous tax on them. Not sure if they only tax imported beers in Alberta or all forms of booze.

Beer has been virtually prohibition priced for far far too long. Anything that fixes that, I'm in favour of.

Ace Liquor has Bronc Beer for $15.99 for a 15pk (if you buy 3 packs). Never tried this before but close to a $1 a can.

The uppity No Name beer is down to buck a beer at Superstore

Taster’s notes: Hardly fizzy, darkish yellow, sweetness on the nose. Same as you would to describe your morning piss

Treat yourself to presidents choice at least when it's on sale. You are worth it.

buck a beer for strong cans, now that's a good way to get to your happy place quick. I assume it also gets you to your unhappy place efficiently as well.

No Name beer is so bad, I rather drink Brewhouse instead.

On a side note, this is back in stock at Costco. Way better than Big Rock and it's only $34.99 for 24. Northwest Pale Ale is very good and my favorite.

I second this with the exception of that chocolate winter one. Def gonna hit Costco for a case though.

Speaking of BC beer - Fernie Brew Co. is amazing - They've been my go-to since touring the brewery omw back from a wedding a couple years ago. Slingshot is one of my favourite beers now.
