i did it a LOT coming back from Texas when I was working there

Most times they couldn't be bothered working it out, border guard straight up told me they'd rather find people who don't declare cos the fines are exponentially higher

Once though, I got a trainee cashier and of course it's the manager training him, and of course I've got a tonne with me (4x 1.75s of hard liquor, 2x 750s of Scotch and 4 or 5 bottles of MD20/20) of which I declared pretty much all...

He was crunching the numbers and while i'm sweating, fearing the worst...he says "$26.53 please" - felt like i'd just got through customs with 10kg of smack!
