Default WTB: Insulin Syringes for Dog

My 10 year old Havenese X Chihuahua dog was just diagnosed with Diabetes Mellitus this Friday

Vet told me I need to give him 2 insulin shots per day @ 4 units each. What they gave me so far, will last about 20 days.

Just looking on suggestions of where the cheapest/reliable place online/local to Calgary/Edmonton to purchase said syringes and Caninsulin and possible a blood glucose monitor kit?

The ones I purchased from the vet seem very easy to use and straight forward so I'd like to stick with those but at a cheaper price point but I believe only vets carry it?

Well imagine if instead of writing that letter to the editor, she just posts on a car forum for car enthusiasts. That's Kritafo.

Regular people syringes will be just fine. No need to over pay for anything specifically marketed for dogs. Best place I have found is canadianmedsupplies.com Here is the link direct to where the slin pins are https://canadianmedsupplies.com/prod...?productId=315

Only thing to be aware of is what the dosage is for your pet? They only carry 100iu syringes, which are hard to measure accurately below 5iu. If you feel more comfortable with a 50iu syringe, you can buy them at pretty much any pharmacy in town.

Much like new cars, new dogs require little Beyond routine maintenance!
