Libs will kil TMX in September and in doing so win a ton of support in BC and elsewhere. Which will get them re-elected.
Killing TransMountain Pipeline expansion could be Trudeau’s path to victory

Given the opening two paragraphs you knew that was going to be a well written unbiased piece of work

Its commentary on the upcoming election. And to be honest I can absolutely see that transpiring so they can hold onto power.

No it wasn't. The first two paragraphs were ideological propaganda against Albertans, with about zero basis in reality besides some SJW's brain.

He was the National Director of the Liberal Party, what are you expecting here?

So far, Christy fell on TMX. If Trudeau has not bought TMX already, killing TMX does him good politically wise. It's not like Albertans will vote for Liberals anyway, buying TMX is really appeasing his Chinese donors.

I believe it is apart of the chinese trade agreement that harper signed and if we do not get the pipeline it could cost us several billion additionally.

I'm expecting nothing, but when people share their ideological drivel, its pretty embarrassing for them. It's why I refrain from sharing anything from The DailyWire, regardless of my thoughts, its more ideology than news, and I don't expect anyone to take it seriously, even if it is factually correct This is just straight up ideological rambling with zero newsworthiness, or even political punditry.

The Liberals bought the pipeline. They will see it through to the bitter end.

Uh, the Liberals have the most seats in BC. I doubt it was TransMountain that was the resounding issue that sealed their fate. They only lost 4 seats from prior to the election.

Fact is, the Greens made a deal with the devil and have sold out their constituents and are supporting things that go against what they campaigned on. So what actually happened is the Greens lied, and now their voters are supporting a cause they don't agree with (NDP). Not much to do with TransMountain.

And whats all this "has" and "buying TMX anyways"? It's already been bought.

The price of gas in Vancouver is 1.72/L right now ..... no TMX and that goes to 2.00$/L by the summer (which is what the price of gas was in the UK).

People on the west coast might wake up and realize HOLY SHIT WE NEED A TMX PIPELINE NOW .... and perhaps not vote fiberal? One can hope.

They have $45/ton carbon tax and Transit Tax on gas inside GVR (or just Vancouver?).

No amount of pipeline will help them.

Surprisingly, diesel is 40c cheaper than regular gas.

I knew the Chinese was involved, didn't know it was signed under Harper.

Green will have to sell out anyway given the close race. Do you think they would align with the one approved TMX and one that opposes it?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought Christy also ran on a quite a few green policies that pissed off her based too. Not sure that was enough to lose Libs crucial seats.

^ the price of gas is based on speculation as well. It used to be the case that if a butterfly farted near a refinery in America that price of gas would go up by 20%.... maybe not as bad now but a pipeline being delayed AGAIN will have speculators in emotional fits of, speculation pricing.

Do you think they would align with one willing to approve the Site C Dam?

You don't have to answer that, its a rhetorical question.

Proper democracy is all about compromises, otherwise you will have a dictatorship.

You are so delusional, just because you and HiTemp think this is a good idea does not mean the rest of the province is up for your treason.
Polls on the subject are way up.

I think the polls closer to voting day keep saying NDP got "momentum" and "closing in"

But yeah, even if NDP was closer with popular vote, they were never closer anywhere other than Edmonton. They only won Calgary because most people didn't like Prentice and stayed home
