You guys realize a ton of BC is unceded territory? Not a chance if leaves the cash cow that is Canada.
    This^^^.
This was (iMO) the actual reason Quebec failed to separate. There is no question that we would have had Civil War parallel to Yugoslavia if Quebec tried to separate.
We all love to believe we're so much better than "those Russian Gypsies" in the Balkans, but we are not. Three powerful ethnic groups battling for the same land. Ask the Serbians (by FAR the dominant ethnic group) how that worked out for them. Massive chunks of previously Serb-controlled land given away to minority groups. Invented new ethnic groups. Bullshit new countries created for Russian money laundering. Kosovo and the giant US military base called (I think) Camp Bondsteel.

Kootenay and interior would totally join AB. Those areas are even more hick than anything in AB. Also they know where their bread is buttered, and it ain't Vancouver.
I feel like Kelowna/Penticton/Salmon Arm peeps always complain about 'bertans. And Koots up to creston and east, OK maybe closer to AB, but as soon as you cross the creston pass into nelson and castlegar area its hippie central.

Now that i talked myself through that, Buster's right, they would be an even bigger fragmented mess than AB with a Western movement.

either way i don't see it happening personally. I know i'd vote to stay in Canada if a referendum came up.

Elizabeth May based her platform on a Hollywood version of history. How fitting.

In other news Mad Max is now invited to debates.

Should play a drinking game on how many times he says LibCon party.
I am happy they are letting him in the debates. Hopefully he will use his time well and bring up issues the other parties refuse to touch. It will be a defining moment for him I think. Either he will gain some traction or crash and burn. The ball is in his court now and he has the ability to define some of his ideas in a truly public domain. I like a lot of what he says compared to the alternatives but if he can't sell it it won't matter.

I saw the (CTV) interview and it was a joke. They are the new CNN hit job masters. Having said that, MB is apparently a non-PC person and will take up issues with whoever wants to and speak his opinion.

The 16 year old who posted on HIS twitter than 'everyone should be panicking about the climate change' comment, IMO got what they deserved.

I dont know enough about the PPC, but if they are anti-PC, thats a big plus in my books. Politicians who say what they mean.

I wouldn't vote for any of them at this point. The ranking should be from terrible to worse.

It's kinda funny. I will be offended though if people are more offended by this than the SNC Lavalin scandal.

I clicked on the link on my phone and couldn't find what the big deal was.

Then I saw the picture on my laptop I realized that wasn't just a picture of four women; he was so dark he blended into the background the first time I looked at the picture I like how he got his hands too. His commitment and attention to detail is impeccable hahahahahaha

But we must judge yesterday's actions based on the mood of today.
