We're natural law the ones who could fly through the power of meditation? I wish we could have that choice again.

May says she is owed $50. Y'know I totally missed this day, did they take all the white people aside for a class that I obviously skipped and said that a standard bet was "$50". Because this has come up more than a few times in my life where I made an offhand remark about a "bet on it" and then the person comes and says I owe them a fifty?

    Whats preston manning up to?
Saw him at home depot in the spring. I talked to him and said, man we need you now.
He said, this will all get sorted out.
I believe he's in behind the scenes in the Conservative party. More of an advisory role.

Meditation and pelvic thrusting, a surefire way to stop crime.

Pretty damned close, just like usual. Liberals performed slightly on the high side of the range, but still not unexpectedly so. They got those few extra seats at the expense of the NDP mostly it appears.

Agreed - for any idea of Western Separation to work enough to give the West leverage over Ottawa, Western Canadians need to be more afraid of a further negative impact of Ottawa, than they are afraid of just doing nothing and being apathetic about the political situation.

Also, Facebook suspended/restricted the Wexit Facebook sites last night, as well as many other pro independence Western Facebook pages. No reason has been given for this, they just did it, poof. More of this can be expected I'm sure in the near future.
The wexit page was chaos yestersay. As members exploded, so did the bigoted posts. The true colour of the separatists bigotry was in full display. I imagine whoever cleaned that mess up did the sanitation job pre emptively to prevent negative press today. It was quite the shit show.

NDP did worse than expected for sure. The rest seems business as usual.
Yet they somehow managed to win a seat in Edmonton Strathcona. Blue collar, oil town voting in an MP representing a party that wants to shut down TMX and effectively all of O&G

Well, maybe some self hate is creeping in. If you do something for too long, eventually you begin to hate it. Doesn't matter if its cake every day.

Ahahahahahaha your posts are all I wanted to read and more.

The rest of us will set the course straight at the next election. Maybe the conservatives will have someone who can capture Canadian's interest.

I voted CON, by the way. I'm just not turning into a drama queen over it. You fucking people are hilarious. Move. Don't let the door hit your ass on the way out.

That part of Edmonton has voted NDP provincially since the 80s (it overlaps with Notley's Edmonton-Strathcona provincial riding) and has been federally MP for the past few elections. Was always an NDP favoured seat.

Definitely curious how many of those 'IM MOVING' people are still here next year. Hint: All of them.

I do think a lot of the conservative problems (Aside from Sheer being a dolt) stem from Kenney and Ford. Both aren't well liked figures outside the far right and I think scared a lot of people in the center away from flipping to the conservatives. The fact that they basically had to put a muzzle on Ford for the election campaign is pretty telling.

Hate to break it to you but Kenney is quite popular:

Kenney had third highest approval rating of all Canadian premiers: survey

    This.

Just like the US after Trump, no one is moving. Our system of Government is flawed and broken, worry about using the voting majority to fix THAT instead of trying to leave. It would take an incredibly strong leader in an incredibly unified party to bring this Country back together, and that person doesn't exist in any current party leadership role. Nor will our system allow it to happen. And there's not a politician in the entire establishment now who would change it, Confederation is working just as intended but Canada is broken as a result.
