These polls have been hilariously inaccurate since the last Provincial/Municipal election. I really doubt it's that accurate based solely on the polls projecting the opposite 3 elections in a row.

Trudeau is the only leader to pull out of independent debates, another strike against his so called "open" and "transparent" self-described government. In all seriousness though, it's a good move politically. He doesn't have the intelligence to rationally defend his track record on a public stage with the country watching.

It wouldn't matter anyway... if blatant deceit and corruption won't sway the Trudeau lovers, nothing will.

What's funny is that the conservatives running their mouths sound uncannily like the liberal brainless fucks running their mouths.

I find it remarkable that the Liberals and the Cons are virtually tied. Terrible for the Liberals.

They aren't tied. Liberals have a decent lead in the only way that counts, seats. Currently the most likely outcome is a liberal majority. Either type of minority government is much less likely.

This country deserves Trudeau. Just let Alberta leave and they can stop the charade of caring what we think.

It’s not really surprising tbh. Outside of alberta the country is doing quite well, unemployment is incredibly low for most other provinces so it makes sense they’d want status quo for the elected party. Just sucks we’re a backburner priority

Ah well. I look forward to four more years of Trudeau ineptness, unless the RCMP get to him first.

What’s next, rich people won’t be allowed to leave when the NDP comes for their savings?

Someone else mentioned it (here?) but if sock puppet man comes into majority rule, there will likely (10 years?) be a western provincial (ie. quebec type) of revolt against Ottawa - so not all bad???

In fact complete decentralization is the best outcome, for all provinces - manage your own fucking affairs properly instead of relying on socialism from other provinces.
    ------------------------------------

Speaking of sock puppet man, his plan of attacking Harper and not engaging in any optional debates is the best plan.

Harper had an image problem (wooden, uncaring dictator) but he actually knew how to answer questions and deal with foreign dignitaries.

I don't know about the "you all" part as I think Scheer is a complete fool also.

When did I ever say they're not allowed?

Alberta won't. There's a difference. I guess that's one of those semantic subtleties that gets under your skin so much.

Western provinces should give Trudeau some credit for his transparency. He's always said that he hates the west and he treats the west like a bunch of bitches. There is no cynical two-facery going on with Trudeau.

What's become evident over a few elections is that the Conservatives also treat the west like a bunch of bitches, but they cup the west's balls just enough to make the west (erroneously) believe they have the interest (maybe) or the political capital (nope) to put Western interests to the top of the agenda. Ultimately the Conservatives are in a bind because they cannot choose the west over losing an election. And they never will. Which brings us back to the same old spot: the problem is Confederation. And it is an unresolvable problem. In the meantime, westerners foolishly believe that the Conservatives are "their" party and will elevate their interests. It ain't happened yet. It ain't gonna happen.

A few elections? It's been evident since Mulroney which caused the Reformers to split off. It became evident again when the Reform Party changed their name and identity to win the favor of the voters they split away from after Mulroney. Hell, there hasn't been a need for a conservative party to cater to Albertan needs since the 70s since that's the decade that the unwavering loyalty was given with no expectation of returns. In most other provinces that type of support is bought and paid for.
