One of the reasons I'm screenshottting the seat projections is so that we can easily look back without shenanigans. Although all the good websites show changes in projections over time and leave those up afterwards.

It’s cute how every party always does 5 year plans so they can claim it’s still a work in progress next election

The parties should stop with any platform/promises as they are over 50% horseshit. The masses know this much by now and are extremely cynical.

Will be interesting to see if the current BQ gainz at the expense of the Liberals holds for more than a few days. So many different minority /coalition type scenarios to think about.

It does warm my heart that current most likely scenario is CPC government, albeit a minority and its only barely more likely than liberal minority.

I just hope if we get a minority’s (either way) it doesn’t just lead to a bunch of postering to shoot every single bill down and another election in a year

Id rather an election in 6 months compared to one of the 3 fringe parties holding the balance of power

The CBC is falling into a trap or making a huge mistake with this lawsuit. I just dug up the ad online and there is zero reason for the CBC to object to it. It looks like there are also clips in the ad from CTV and maybe others - who are not suing.

Well, there's still a HUGE RANGE of probable outcomes, and the uncertainty on the liberal seat projections, but I'll take my good news where I can get it.

Conservative minority now the most likely outcome, by a slim slim slim margin:

A conservative minority, so 4 years of nothing being done, and them getting all the blame.

    Four years?!?!
I think only one minority gov't in history has survived 4 years. We would be lucky to get 2 years. Most recently, Harper's pair of minority governments only lasted about 2.5 years each.

    Minority would be good.

Mandatory leadership review for the liberals. Going by the liberal insiders posts in my own family on FB - it's pretty clear most have given up on the great second coming of Trudeau...

Minority would be fine. All we need is for Trudeau to pout and step down.

Frankly leadership review of Conservatives might be pretty great as well.

Do you see a decent replacement within the ranks right now?

    That's the sad part...

He will never step down on his own.

Wait till you see the scandal that brings him down.

Our system doesn't really require someone to step down, it just requires the party membership to think they have a better chance of winning with someone else.
