Also paved, and preferably within an hour of the city. I need to do some tests on my truck under load.

Just set the parking brake a couple clicks.

Stoney trail from bow River to beacon heights is a long pull.

I would of thought from Beddington Trail to Sarcee Tr along stoney would be better.

I don't have elevations, but both are pretty good.

scott lake hill on the way back into Calgary on the TC Highway. Or go up to beacon hill in either direction on Stoney trail. Those are probably the best ones in/near the city.

I think stoney trail is just as steep and long as Scott lake.

All good suggestions, but none really what I need. Basically I need an uphill 1/4 mile with little enough traffic that I can do it from a stop.

I think I'll just go out to Highwood pass, coming from the south.

Enter stoney trail from Tuscany? You enter at lights.

Big Hill Springs. There’s an intersection close to the bottom of the hills you can start from.

Alternatively the lights from John Laurie heading up Sarcee is good for testing too, I did my 0-100km/h trailer pull test there.

    Oh! Hang on!
What about 549 West of Okotoks heading toward Priddis etc? I think that has precisely what you're looking for!

37th st south of 22x... 3 hills in a row, mailboxes and driveways so people are pretty use to cars starting from dead stops. My father who lives to teach everything the hard way taught me how to drive a manual out there back in the day

Burma Rd like I said, very steep and little enough traffic you can stop in the middle of the valley and then haul ass up the hill.

    EDIT: Right after 85st
