From my perspective, having had both sizes, my midsize is ~ 1.5 feet shorter than my full size, both full doors, both short beds so it fits in the garage in winter, it is about 30% better on gas and it was about $10,000 less for same trim. The other points I agree with, space, tech, comfort. The new Ram 1500 is really, really nice, the new GM ones are only slightly worse inside (IMO) and F-150 has now fallen behind both those trucks and looks a bit outdated inside, but has the best engine lineup still. I think smaller truck segment is here to stay this time around as the big trucks have gotten bigger since last time the midsize segment died off.
What truck did you have before that you’re now 30% better in fuel?
There is like 5% difference in full size and midsize trucks now for mpg.
Did you have a tundra or something? Maybe a titan, both have decade+ old drivetrains.
