    Default I've decided I want a Chevy Colorado ZR2.

I've never owned a truck but it seems like a good idea for getting everyone out mountain biking and such.

    Anyone own I one here?

    Does it fit in parkades?

You can get a pretty damn nice Tacoma for the same price.

Tacomas have been the same old rehashed overpriced shit for ages. Toyota seems satisfied to just rest on their laurels instead of innovate. The new Colorado is a seriously good looking truck and I'd way sooner pick up one of those.

But if you enjoy resale value, stick with the old rehashed overpriced shit.

Why would you want a Tacoma, apart from resale value? I'd easily take a Ranger or Colorado over it.

I’ve been wanting one forever. Love the multimatic spool valve shocks and locking diffs. It’s a nice size with some serious capability. I used to be a Tacoma guy and there’s absolutely no way I’d consider a Tacoma over one is these.

    I love Tacomas.

But no way, no how I'm buying a Tacoma over a ZR2.

I have no brand loyalty at all.

What year of Colorado? Stay the hell away from anything before 2007, they all have defective cylinder heads. No idea about the new ones.

i just got myself a fairly expensive bike and don't like the idea of it being out and visible, if i were to run into the store. i like your idea of a van for biking.
as far as your purchase i'd but a tacoma all day before a zr2, re sale mostly but styling as well. personal opinions of course.
buddies gf just bought a denail version and it felt like junk inside.

    good luck

Really like those. Nothing really else to add.

Definite would fit in a parkade. It’s smaller than a half ton in every way.

I thought you were getting a metris for your biking trips?

Colorado has beautiful highway manners. So much better than Tacoma.

The interior of the GM twins isn't very good. I'm waiting to see if they update it on the refresh. Otherwise the Zr2 is better in any objective way as far as I can tell. Resale is better on the Taco. But I never want that to be my priority (although it would be nice to have).

Definitely, the crew cab has had the same side profile for almost 25 years. I can't even tell unless I look at the front clip or tail lights.

The Colorado ZR2 is a cool truck, I like the looks of the Canyon too but I don't think the all-terrain or denali package offers all of that.
GM decided not to offer a high trim level for the Colorado, and no offroady for the Canyon. Brand differentiation.

I was going to. But it turns out a lot of the vans I was looking at actually don't fit my bike. The Metris is one.

I think if I were to want to go inside an eat a meal or something, I'll just pop off the front wheel and put it in the back of the Colorado sideways. Otherwise it will be family bike hauler. A truck can fit my family and my bikes at the same time. The smaller promaster and similar can't. Plus it looks badass.

Drove a ZR2 with a aftermarket Supercharger in Arizona, was pretty awesome! Personally, I'd get the diesel version and tune it, hear they get insane MPG's and still plenty of pep.

I'm going to have to drive both. There doesn't seem to be a lot of consensus on the gasser or the oil burner.

Other problem is figuring out space is the garage. Think I might flip the gla45

If you’re serious I’d wait for the Ranger raptor. I’d guess for 2020 MY, avail octish

Is this coming? I keep seeing conflicting reports on if it will come to NA or not.

I've actually been looking at the Raptor a lot lately as a DD, but it is just a bit too big... I really just want a truck with Factory Recaro's, lol
Really, it’s anyone guess - I’d lean toward it’ll come.
