Default I'm back with a Volvo

    HEY!

I'm back... I bought this volvo 240 wagon 5 speed. I LOVE it so far!
Mostly just need to repaint a tailgate to replace the rusty one and get another set of wheels.

Yes, I still have my 94 mustang. It hasn't moved over to my house yet, but I have a parts car I'm taking the SBF out of to rebuild for it.

Cool! I always thought their 164 was an under appreciated unit, particularly for its time. Nothing wrong with a 240 though.
That one sure looks like it's in good shape.

You realize you are talking to the guy who made his own furniture out of salad bowls right?

Put the sbf in the volvo and the b230 in the mustang. Then add turbos until sufficient sauce is achieved.

This post makes me miss my first car, which was a volvo 240DL (sedan) with the 5spd. Built like a tank but slow as balls. Love your wagon, I clearly have a soft spot for these cars.

Love me a good 240. Jealous of how clean that looks!

Looks like it could be a very fun sleeper build. What are you plans for it?

Saw this today and thought of your thread.
