SHM for those of you who don’t think the NSX is a supercar.

    The ‘92 NSX R? That’s a pinnacle car there.

    EDIT: Fanboy triggered.

imo yes to both. I think it's a sportscar for sure, but supercar to the likes of others on this list? no way.

I wouldnt mind if the value goes up comparable to all the others on the list tho lol

Overall, I thought the list was OK, though there seem to be some questionable choices, both inclusions and omissions.

The Japanese supercars are very obscure and, to me, scream "Gran Turismo" fan, rather than legitimate selection.

Three versions of the 993 seems a little much.

No Ferrari F355? Another icon that is perhaps the most widely regarded mid-engine V8 Ferrari ever...

I'm on the fence about the NSX... It was a game-changer in the sports car arena, but it's a pretty big stretch to call it a supercar.
Agreed on all points. List seemed like it was put together by a Porsche fan who also plays Gran Turismo.

LeMans homologation specials were practically unknown to the public at large. The Ferrari F40 was still in production in the early 90s and was unquestionably more iconic than any of those at the time. 355 and 550 are also notable omissions especially considering the 993's over-representation.

I'd also argue the Zonda is a 2000s supercar, not a 1990s. Same goes for the 996.

NSX, like the Corvette, is a sports car rather than supercar.

    No. We vet our writers.

Nick D, for example, owns a few Porsches (shocked? lol) and is a car fanatic.

Terrence Wah is actually a beyond member and a racer.

Everyone that writes for the site is an enthusiast or racer.

Now, all that said, your feedback is valuable. What would help demonstrate credibility?

EDIT: I've also written for SC, so thanks for that lol

Doug DeMuro recently did a very descriptive review of Jay Leno's F1 and I recommend people watch that if you aren't overly familiar with it's quirks. Truly a one of a kind car.

My boss spent hours researching and putting this list together. What do you think? Agree/disagree?
The list is fine, it's the title that is in question. Maybe "Most Iconic 90's Cars" would be more fitting? Then nobody can bitch about the NSX being on the list.

Having driven quite a few on the list, your boss got number 1 right, number 2 should be the Ferrari F50, number 3 is the Porsche 911 GT1, number 4 the EB110, and number 5, the Jaguar XJR-15.

Agree in that, when viewed today, it's got about as much power as a modern Camry.
Less actually... The new v6 Camry has over 300hp
