Harbour Breeze fan help

Our new place has a harbor breeze light/fan combo. The light turns on, but nada for the fan using the remote. I’ve gone through their DIY shit to fix it based off remote, but i don’t think it’s the remote. So assuming it’s wiring, what do I have to dig into? Except that the wiring is just the same as a light fixture!

Call me confused. The ‘direction change’ works as I can hear it click when I hit it on the remote, but nada for the fan itself

Check the wiring of the fan control box, it's usually inside the cover on the ceiling. It should be pretty easy to drop the cover by removing the set screw. I'll start there.

Try calling their support number. I had similar issues with a Hampton Bay and they sent me a brand new controller and remote for free.
