Default Beyond Appliance hookup? Do we still have one?

Do we still have an appliance person on beyond? Might be buying a new stove, as my stupid electrolux wavetouch control board has gone out again and replacement parts are $1400. Fuck that.

Or if anyone has suggestions for 30" slide-in electric ranges, or a used one they need to get rid of. Baller brand not required.

EDIT: Also looking for advice for appliance brands that have easily available parts. What's the biggest sellers in appliances these days? Frigidaire? Maytag?

Frigidaire is the same as Electrolux
Whirlpool, Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air are the same.
I think it's just a general consensus to stay away from Samsung appliances.

No clue about whether we have a hookup anymore. Paging @masoncgy

Well, possible false alarm. Got mad, unplugged stove to try and disassemble it to either fix it or break it more fully. Couldn't even get it disassembled. Swore quite a bit, plugged it back in, and it work. For now. Don't expect it to last, but if we can nurse another year, I'll be pretty pleased.

I can't believe how many modern ovens vent (lots of steam) directly into the control boards.
Appliance companies have become pure evil with multi thousand$ units failing in <5 years. I don't know how regular people are supposed to afford this. I assume it's the BigBox stores offering financing "so cheap".

I sure wouldn't have chosen these appliances, far more fancy than I need. And if I replace, I'm going down a few steps in prestige for sure.

One issue to note with Maytag is that most (or all?) of their ovens vent at the front just above the handle and the front third of the cooking surface and front trim piece get extremely hot, although the handle is still ok to touch. Not a good thing if you have young kids or a wife who likes to lean against the oven when it is on. Unless she is into that kinda thing. It is a known issue but there aren't any standards for maximum temperature on those specific surfaces. The surfaces that do have a maximum temperature standard will essentially be reached by a Maytag whereas other brands can be much cooler to the touch.

I bought a Maytag dual oven a few months ago and it is all vented at the rear.

Gas stove tops are bulletproof, but the oven portion is still very dependent on electronics. My piece of shit Kitchenaid gas range's control panel would fry itself every few years.

You could have saved some time calling a Shaw tech and having them walk you through this solution.

My wife offered the IT desk from her company. Apparently they also know this procedure.

We must've got lucky because our Samsung washer and dryer are going on 11 years old with not one problem with them over that time.
    Will fuck off, again.

Had the same issue with ours after a year and a half, they use nylon rollers with no lubrication. Fortunately the dryers are pretty easy to service and the replacement roller was only $20 or so. Added some silicone grease to all the rollers and it's been fine since.

My Samsung fridge, oven and microwave have been junk. Fridge is poorly designed and have had to replace the temperature sensor twice, the oven control board has buttons that randomly stop working, the microwave fan gets stuck and in general makes weird noises.

When I gut the kitchen, I’m replacing everything with commercial appliances from a failed restaurant liquidation sale... mmm... deep fryer and a flat top...
