Really? That sucks (for me)...ours is a dual oven as well, model YMET8800FZ. What model did you get? We bought ours in November, delivered in December.
Same model. I haven’t noticed any temperature issues with ours, but we normally only use the top oven, which is vented out the back.

Our lower oven is vented out the back (I think) but the upper is vented directly behind the upper handle. We also use the upper oven the most (maybe have used the lower a half dozen times).

I forget his username now but his name is Carey and he works for Coast Wholesale. Even though he was no longer in Calgary (he's the GM of the Nanaimo BC location), he sent a PO to the Calgary location and still got me a great deal on a new Dishwasher.

If you want his email shoot me a PM - not sure if he would want me posting his work contact info here.

The other thing we did recently when we needed a new oven/range is bought one with a small dent on the side for a massive discount also at Coast. They have a whole room of items with cosmetic blemishes on clearance. It was $650 down from $1200 and we got another $50 off.

He no longer works at Coast, and I believe is not in the appliance industry at all.

    Hey guys,

Yeah, unfortunately I am out of the appliance business as of last spring (we moved back to Alberta from BC) and work in a different industry now, however, if you do need help with appliances definitely look to Coast. The NE location near Sunridge on 32 St often has really good deals on clearance pieces. Check in with Loc Nguyen, he's a great guy there and will be happy to help!

I don't know him, but the store's phone number is (403) 717-0548. Unless you are looking for his personal number for sexytime.

When I gut the kitchen, I’m replacing everything with commercial appliances from a failed restaurant liquidation sale... mmm... deep fryer and a flat top...
I wouldn't mind having one of those Krispy Kreme deep fryers wrapped around my kitchen like a castle moat!

Becoming more tempting now... probably a few restaurants’ worth of liquidated equipment floating around these days

I just want this, but flush with my kitchen counter, or the spiral ones like you see at Stampede.

Then widen every door in my house by a 2 feet.
