These Lime scooters were EVERYWHERE in Paris. Pretty sweet way to get around, I must say!

Officially signed up now that the scooters are available. I’m stoked.

I was out for a bike ride this morning and saw a couple guys riding the scooters. I pulled up next to him and asked him what he thought and he said he was really surprised at how well they picked up speed and how well they responded. They definitely looked like they were having fun with them.

Couldn't believe that the first few half dozen of these scooters I've seen near the Stampede were douches that were flying along on the sidewalk, barely missing people and scaring a bunch of folks as they just flew by. My first thought was I wonder how long it will take before some dumbass gets seriously hurt, by either crashing or getting crashed.
I was in Phoenix during spring break and witnessed a lot of of risk takers weaving in and out of traffic too, and wasn't too surprised to hear they have had a few deaths and a lot of injuries with the scooters.

I watch a lot of Youtube, subbed to hundreds of channels, and one I've been watching for 6 or 7 years is Emily Hart. She was killed last week in London on an eScooter, hit by a truck, it was the city's first death on a scooter apparently, at least according to the UK news (Emily Hartridge is her full name).

The app will tell you where the disallowed zones are. If it's not redded out, you can technically take these anywhere in range.

Saw my first one sitting in the middle of a sidewalk today.

Are these about the same price as a Car2Go or am I missing something? Might as well take a Car2Go or Uber if there is no meaningful cost savings.

Pain in the ass to park car2go downtown. Parking authority loves to give out tickets.

Never had a problem parking a Car2Go downtown in peak times nor have I ever got a ticket with one

They used to have lots of phantom cars but I am told that is better now.

Considering how easy it is to take these on a train... I'm sure they'll end up everywhere.

From looking at the map, seems to be prtty much all of Calgary allowed. A few spots yhou can't park them like nose hill and fish creek park but nice too see such a wide zone.

I came across two downtown on my walk to the bus stop yesterday, but both were out of battery and wouldn't let me unlock them. Need those "juicers" out there more often.

I took two this morning. So much fun! I can definitely see people turning into douche bags on them though ripping down the sidewalk but they have bells on them and if you're not a prick when you ride them everything should be fine.

Took one today to head down to china town for a bubble tea. I was surprised at how quickly it picked up speed. I've never been on a scooter of any sort so it was a bit of a learning experience.

It was alot of fun and will definitly use it again.

Such bullshit that escooters are allowed on the sidewalks downtown.

Pretty soon someone gonna get hurt. Those idiots do not follow any of the rules on the road. Almost hit someone in the back alley came out of adjacent street not stopping or looking at traffic.
