Mistake to buy a gas powered vehicle these days?

Calgary Parking just installed a bunch downtown that's free. Well, you pay for parking and get free charging. That's the only "free" charging I know of these days.

edit - forgot, some hotels provide free charging for guests.

V12's will be gone soon. AMG already got rid of theirs, and replacing it with an 800hp V8 hybrid setup next year. AMG GT73.
