    Default Waffle Page On Facebook

I recently won on a waffle site on Facebook, just wondering if anyone else knows any others??? This one is called western Canada recreational powersports. There’s like 5500 people which is a bit to say the least but I don’t want to wait till something I’m interested in. It’s addicting to say the least!

Probably not something you want to ask as most of them are private for gambling reasons / reporting revenue to CRA etc

Who gets the money when $1000 in spots are sold for a $500 prize, or the prize doesn’t even exist. There is zero accountability and they are scammy for a reason.

The person who runs it gets any "accidental" extra money. Running these can be really profitable.

I was part of one where the the person running it, ended up winning the prize, it was a Corvette. And then accusations were thrown left and right. Is the randomizer.net website really legit? Or can it be tweeked to your advantage?

Well imagine if instead of writing that letter to the editor, she just posts on a car forum for car enthusiasts. That's Kritafo.

There's so many ways the fake that even if the website is legit picking a random number. There's a reason these are illegal.

Not just any Corvette, a ZR-1.

And apparently his neighbour won the Corvette before that.

I’m watching some where they have 2-4 $20,000 draws a week. It’s crazy to say the least. 2 weeks ago a guy won a $74,000 boat for $200.

This is why I left the only group a friend added me to. Sketchy shit with no regulation.

I used to do something similar in my RC group. But the way I set it up to do the draws was about the most transparent way to do them. I took the list of entries and went to random.org and randomized the list 3 times, and then went to wheeldecide.com, loaded in the randomized list, then generated another random number for the number of seconds to spin the wheel, and then the wheel declared the winner, and I did the whole thing live streamed from start to finish. I ended up winning once and one salty guy started throwing out accusations, so after that, I didn't enter anymore.

It's easy to make it fair, but it would be easy enough to fake it too. Probably not worth faking it from an rc car. Maybe worth it for a real car or a $75,000 boat...

well, to be honest, finding a way to fake it while livestreaming is WAY above my skills and abilities. The way I did it, i don't know if it is possible.

Prerecord going to google random number generator with the number that picks your friend (run it over and over until you ge the right answer and record it. Then when you go to ‘draw’ you just run the screen capture back and feign excitement

Lots of them also have a dice you have to roll.

    EX.
    100 people on a list
    Roll the dice
    Roll comes out 5
    Random.org
Click the random button 5 times

Right, but I also interact with the people who are watching it live stream, so pre-recording doesn't work. I guess I could also do something like what KPHKPH suggested and have someone roll a dice that is watching...

This lambo waffle in Alberta here does the dice roll with a live die. She just rolls it into a cup herself. It at least takes some of the questioning out of whether random.org is truly random by using their automated dice roll.

As for waffle pages, these are the ones I have found or been invited to.

-Lambo waffle western Canada crowd funded giveaways
It's a closed group for obvious reasons, just have to request entry and you're in I think. 500 spots 200$ each for a 2004 blue Lambo Gallardo with around 75,000km on it.

    -Canada wide gift exchange &giveaways
This one is a secret group, I think you have to actually be invited to even find this thing. They do all kinds of random stuff. A guy I know put his Viper on there.

    -wheel waffle Canada
haven't even seen this group put anything up

    -cars&cash pancakes
This guy does little cash draws almost daily

The thing I wonder is how these people running them don't get pinched by the bank for money laundering or tax evasion? All it takes is a certain threshold of etransfers into your account and it gets auto flagged.
