Getting triggered about being called an millennial is such a millennial thing to do...

Correction: Millennial's don't get "triggered" for being called one (case and point, you are one), they just want that definition to be expanded to include as many people as possible so they can feel included
Did you just assume what I want?

    *triggered*

See a true millennial would want the definition to be as narrow as possible, so they can feel special.

If everyone’s a millennial then how do I get to feel special?

I find a lot of this generations kids being subjected to FOMO at an early age. Other people have swimming and ballet lessons for their kids? Gotta do the same, no matter the cost, even if they hate it. Which is of course the Putin way of raising a kid, gotta get them adapted to conformity and pain early.

Not that its necessarily wrong. But whatever happened to the days that a kid just could spend the day flying a kite?

FOMO exists in every generation, probably going back to existence of mankind.
Kid has yo-yo? Everyone wants a yo-yo. Oh wait, everyone has a Rubik's cube now? Gotta have that. Wait, 3D glasses coloring books? Shiiiet.

Our generation was more "item" based. This new generation is more "experiences" based - they seem to spend an inordinate amount on the experience as opposed to on what economists tended to classify as tangible durable goods.

Vacations, dance, food - never seen so much spent with so little actually ending up "in hand" at the end of the day.
