Has anyone considered or witches to these pressure assisted toilets? Any mods needed from regular plumbing? Is it entire toilet unit, or are there retrofit tank inserts?

My list of random For Sale (some free) stuff
Have one toilet that must have a less direct outlet run and it always clogs. #interested.
I had one in my old condo, and it is very loud. Other than that, it does flush very well. The problem in that condo was that you could hear other people flush their toilets, and that was extremely irritating. I actually have no idea why the builder put those into a new build, surely they cost more than regular toilets.
In your own house, I don’t think noise would be as big of an issue, especially if it’s a less used toilet.
It’s installed like a regular toilet, the only difference is the mechanism in the tank.
I googled it up and came across this gem of a video.
My day is complete.

What is that simulated shit made of?
I'd be more impressed if they showed some skid marks getting cleaned off the bowl from the pressure.
I looked into it before when replacing toilets. It is pretty loud so I chose to skip it. AFAIK there isn't any plumbing mods needed but I can't speak to retrofit kits. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Looks like you don't have to flush until the 10th or 12th dump.

Current have one in our house. Just replaced the one in the spare bath, reason being.. parts arent just readily available at say HD. I will say that YES they are loud, enough that you hesitate to flush in the middle of the night.
I probably wouldn't recommend them strictly due to the pain in the ass of dealing with parts and troubleshooting. If you are interested, we lost pressure in the main unit and it would often stay open and run after flushing. The only solution was to turn off the water and completely depressurize the system to reset it. Which after a few times, is very annoying.
